I will have to give the 30 days a try. I was on twitter for a while, had followers but never really got into it. I am still one that does not see a value. So, I'll check back in a month from now.

    Hi Michelle

I have just started to use twitter and really like the idea of using it as a diary as well as letting the world know about my debts challenge eBook launch.

I will check out Ed's Twitter video as he gives tremendous useful info - thanks for the reminder and I will also check out your Twitter too, to make sure that I don't miss something of great value for working online.

Thanks for the article. Credit to you, you have some amazing info here.

Ok,ok.. Not everyone wants to know I'm out at starbucks ,or should they ? For a marketer, collecting demographic info is priceless.

    Michelle,

Thanks for the post. I tweet, because I think it's fun, not necessarily for business purposes... but, I can DEFINITELY see the value.

I know a lot of people may not recognize it, but you're helping them with your advice.

@Clint and Richard. Twitter is like most things... you don't see the value until you "get" it. And, you don't "get" it until you use it.

Twitter is the #4 source of link traffic to one of my sites... behind 1)Email referrals, 2) YouTube, and 3) Facebook.

And, it's not far behind YouTube or Facebook.

    Food for thought...

You probably won't get a million visitors from Twitter, but you will get traffic. And, if you play it right... that traffic WILL "convert".

    Hi Michelle,

While I also don't want to read about what someone is having for breakfast, I think Twitter is a great way to personalize yourself to your list. It helps you build a rapport with your clients without having to sell them something.

I've also met others in my niche and am developing relationships with them and who knows? maybe JVs with them down the road.

    thanks for the great post.

I love Twitter and I love it for all it's varied reasons - people telling me they're having a ham sandwich, people getting out of Egyptian jails, people networking with others in their niche, and much, much more! :D

(And I'm glad you're taking the summaries off your blog.) ;)

I have beeen resisting joining Twitter for quite sometime... I guess it's time to join the revolution and now yet another social site to keep up with.
